Recent Interview
Brenda Rhodes is a retired co-owner of a successful family business, an amateur artist of ceramics and wall murals, a lover of children, an active member of her church and a compassionate friend to many. Her love for family is a strong passion in her life and holidays are very special events for her, especially Christmas.
In her younger years she married and had two children, a daughter Wendi and a son Ronal Paul. She is now single and has one living child, her daughter, who is married and one grandson and three step-grandchildren.
She grew up the daughter of Dusty Rhodes, a Dallas Bowling Hall of Fame member and founder of the family business, Bowling & Billiard Supplies of Dallas, Inc. She worked in the family business for many years along side her brother, Ronnie Rhodes, also a Dallas Bowling Hall of Fame member as well as the Texas Bowling Hall of Fame.
Brenda enjoys opening her home to missionaries who are connected to her church when they are in town. She also has cars available for missionary use.
She is a Stephen Minister, which is a one to one care giving ministry to others going through difficult times.
She also has plans to attend training to become a Rapid Response Team minister with the Billy Graham organization.
She hopes to be able to share her story of redemption and the power of God's love and faithfulness through speaking engagements in the future.
Brenda is an active member of Lakepointe Church in her hometown.
She and her Munchkin cats, which have little short legs, live in a cozy southern country home with a wraparound porch. |
